"They will take your breath away"

Films: Anaconda (1997), Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004), Anaconda 3: The Offspring (2008), Anacondas: Trail of Blood (2009), Lake Placid vs. Anaconda (2015)

Alias: None

Type: Natural, Mutant (Offspring-onwards

Location: River/Jungle/Haunted home/Forest/Civilized area

Height/Weight: Three times that of average anacondas.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: If people afraid of snakes aren't thinking of the venomous ones, they're thinking of the other kind. The one that doesn't need to poison you. The ones who just have to hug you enough to break your bones and swallow you whole. And none are perhaps more well-known or reviled than the anaconda.

History: The history of the anaconda species in this film are...interesting, to say the least. The first one was simple enough, being of Amazonian origin along with its partner. The rest though were all the way from Borneo, guarding the Blood Orchid, a sacred flower said to be the source of the Fountain of Youth, and the key to immortality. Needless to say, a lot of grief comes from either trying to take it from the snakes (failed), or trying to extract its essence from captured and experimented on subjects (failing).

Notable Kills: Spitting out a partially digested guy, swallowing another guy who just got paralyzed by a rare breed of spider, leaving a person to blow himself up after they try to trick it into eating them, squeezing a croc so hard it explodes, crushing a girl in a car, slicing a croc in half...

Final Fate: The ones from the Amazon got shot, burnt, and axed, while most of the Bornean anacondas got crushed under rubble along with all the Blood Orchids. As for the genetically modified anacondas, they just kept dying and being replaced by their offspring. Oh, and there was that time where they fought crocodiles from Lake Placid after being crossbred with them. Weird.

Powers/Abilities: The mutated anacondas have razor-sharp spear tails for eviscerating foes. They can also regenerate.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-The first two tales of Anacondas feature some pretty threatening snakes. The first is the worst for how real it can be in close-ups, while the Bornean ones have some intimidating designs to compensate for the finnicky CGI. But the next iterations just fall flat, in spite of how much more violent they are than their predecessors. Just look at that crap CGI!

Trivia: -Actual Anacondas, while big, are nowhere near as large nor aggressive as their film counterparts. They stay mostly in the water, and if, this is a big if, they were to eat anything as big as a human, it would take months to fully digest it.

-While the giant anaconda is the largest snake in the world, weighing in at 550 pounds, the longest is the reticulated python, which grows up to 30 feet long.

Quote the film, common freaking sense.

Anyone else want to share his fate?

Death slithers back into view.

It's only a cheap sequel until someone gets horribly manhandled by a serpent.

And the failure can begin anew.

"Come here often?"

This is getting ridiculous. You know that, right?

Just WHO thought this was a good idea?!

Yep. That happened.

This is just sad. I've seen two Corgis fight with more ferocity.
First the Amazon and now the crops?!

He does look like a ripe melon, in hindsight.

This position is bad at college and it's worse here.

Whoever's making these, learn to draw, already.

Hatred as hot as blue flames.

"You did this to me! YOU ALL DID THIS TO ME!"

That crocodile never stood a freaking chance.

Somebody's getting off to this. I just know it.

"Nobody said you were invited!"

And now, they gave the snakes atomic breath. Just great.

Lazier.

"Dear God, let me die!"

Say what you will, but dying in a metal death trap like this?

Smoke on the water reaches a whole new meaning.

If that's a bunch of snakes mating, why didn't we jack this up to an R rating?

What big eyes you have...

I knew giving him facial expressions would make him intolerable.

When your annoying friend wants a piece of your hard-earned lunch.
